Having sweet treats such as chocolate among other goodies can help in battling momentary depression. Even with the consumption of chocolate, though, having an overly processed version will not help.

A vitamin D deficiency is linked to mood swings, having a whole grain cereal with milk helps in preventing these swings. Another healthy snack is including a full-fat Greek yogurt with honey and granola.
