How to Get Open Pores Using Easy Peasy Home Remedies

Our 5+ Tips on Getting Open Pores Easily

It’s common knowledge that your skin cells have very minuscule openings called pores, which are responsible for the delivery of bodily fluids such as sweat and oil. While they are great for keeping your body cool and moisturized, over time they may trap dirt and clog the pores, leading to skin problems such as acne. To avoid this, let’s find out how to get open pores using some home remedies!

Apple Cider Vinegar

ACV has been a long-time skin champion ingredient in our books, due to it’s ability to get rid of more than 90% of the common skin problems out there. It restores the pH, prevents bacterial infection, lightens skin tone and opens up the pores. Just mix it with water, dip a cotton ball in this mixture and apply it on the face.

Sugar Scrub

Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliation purposes, which basically removes all of the dirt and impurities in your skin, opening up those pores in not time. Just mix two tablespoons of sugar in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, add some lemon drops, apply and keep it on your face for 10 minutes. Wash afterwards.

Lemon Juice

Once again, due to it’s rich citric acid content, lemon juice helps in exfoliation by scrubbing out the impurities. It will also remove dark spots and improve complexion. Just apply some lemon juice mixed with honey on your skin and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Rinse afterwards.

Yogurt

The lactic acid in the yogurt is what the citric acid is to lemon, both of them being excellent exfoliators. Apply some yogurt on your face for open pores and leave them for 5-10 minutes, rinsing afterwards with cool water. You could also use a face wash and rinse again if you don’t like the smell that yogurt leaves on your body.

Oatmeal

If you have sensitive skin and would rather prefer some that exfoliates without adding too much pressure then oatmeal is perfect for that purpose. All you need to do is mix 2 tablespoons of milk powder, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and 5 tablespoons of honey together and apply this paste on the skin, rubbing it for 15 minutes and washing it away later.
